The CDC’s relationship with the Kenya Medical Research Institute, which spans four decades, offers students unparalleled access to distinguished medical professionals, scholars, and scientists. Attend classes on a campus with high-speed internet and surrounded by gardens. Learn research protocol and how to gather and analyze data from experts developing improved delivery of treatments and vaccines for infectious diseases and translating findings into policy recommendations.

Embark on a unique 21-day program through Bolivia, delving into indigenous rights, environmental justice, and rich cross-cultural experiences. This program offers an immersive exploration of Bolivia's communities, diverse landscapes and environmental challenges.


Intensive Arabic In Amman (Region under crisis monitoring)

This 9-week summer program is for students who have a strong interest in learning Modern Standard Arabic through an intensive language program in the Middle East. You will attend Arabic classes at the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman. Students of all levels of Arabic, from novice to advanced, can be accommodated and no prior experience in Arabic language is required. To further enhance your cultural learning and understanding of the country of Jordan, you have the option to participate in excursions to sites of natural, cultural and historical significance in Jordan, such as Petra, Wadi Rum, Dana Nature Reserve, and the Dead Sea.


Social Justice And Human Rights In Tanzania

This immersive 5-week summer program offers University of Oregon students a transformative experience, exploring social justice, human rights, race, ethnicity, and identity in Tanzania. Hosted at the Training Center for Development Cooperation (TCDC) in Arusha, students will earn 8 credits through academic courses and hands-on fieldwork.
